The U14 boys played their way to a championship at the FC Pride Tournament in Indianapolis, Indiana the weekend of Oct. 5,6, 7.  The bracket included teams from Michigan, Cincinnati and Indianapolis. The team’s tournament bracket record was 2-1 going into the championship game. The bracket teams were talented and very challenging, but the Impact U14 boys team never let up and played with strong determination and teamwork.  They passed efficiently, communicated on the field and executed plays with great skill. 

The hard work paid-off in the final game against Indianapolis’ FUSION team. After ending regulation time in a 1-1 tie, the teams played two additional over-time sessions with no additional goals. Next was the penalty-kick shoot-out to determine a winner. With the coaching assistance of Everett and Kia, the team’s skill and determination prevailed. The U-14 boys Impact won the championship in penalty kicks.
